Partial Confounding in Symmetrical Factorial Experiments

Summary A new method is given for partial confounding with any block size in symmetrical factorial experiments. The method combines the techniques of confounding and incomplete block design, so that some factorial effects are completely confounded and some are partially confounded. A list of useful balanced incomplete block designs and group divisible designs is given, showing the wide range of available block sizes.
