A Note on the Comparison of Certain Sampling Strategies

Summary In this note we compare strategies H 1, H 2 and H 3 under a commonly used superpopulation model, where H1 consists of a πPS scheme and the Horvitz–Thompson (HT) estimator; H 2 consists of the Midzuno–Sen scheme and the corresponding HT estimator and H 3 is the Rao–Hartley–Cochran strategy.
